Michael George Dean, professionally known as Mike Dean, is a highly influential American record producer, audio engineer, and multi-instrumentalist renowned for his innovative work in the music industry. With a career spanning over three decades, Dean has become a pivotal figure in the world of synthesizer-heavy instrumentation and audio mixing, particularly within the genres of hip-hop, rap, and R&B.


Dean’s career began in 1992 when he first gained recognition for his work with Texas-based rappers like Scarface, Willie D, and Geto Boys.
